During November our prayer emphasis was "Prayers of Thanks". Always we give thanks to God for the amazing and wonderful ways that God has blessed us. As we move into Advent and look forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus, we will continue our emphasis on our prayer life as a community of faith. During Advent we will explore the prayers of the characters of the Christmas story: Mary, Joseph, John the Baptist, Elizabeth. As we reflect on these prayers, our own prayer life will be enriched and we will be reminded of our connection to those who have gone on before us.
Join us on Thursday, December 19 for our annual Blue Christmas Service. Invite those around you who are struggling this Advent to find meaning and hope for their lives. On Tuesday, December 24, we will celebrate the birth of Jesus through our annual candle lighting service. Both of those services are at 6:30 pm
May this Advent season be one the fills you with the joy and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
